Last updated: 10/03/2026

preliminary Preliminary version: the text and details will be refined and reviewed before final publication.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The FitHilf service is operated by: Vorname Nachname, Musterstraße 1, 00000 Musterstadt, Germany. Email: info@example.com. For more details, see the Impressum.

2. What data we store

  • Account: name, email address, password as a hash (the password itself is not stored), gender and date of birth if you provided them, and your Google account address if you sign in with Google.
  • Body data: weight, height, measurements, calculated body composition and their history.
  • Workouts and habits: plan, exercises, sets, exercise photos (if you upload them), challenge, habits and check-ins.
  • Support: your requests, correspondence and attachments.
  • Security: sign-in history (time, IP address, browser and device) and active sessions, so you can see where you signed in from and end any session that isn’t yours.
  • Contact form: your name, email address and message are forwarded to us by email so we can reply; they are not stored in the website’s database.

3. Why we process your data

Solely to operate the service: to calculate and display your progress, to provide sign-in and account security, and to respond to your requests. We do not sell data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or trackers.

4. Cookies and browser storage

We use only technically necessary cookies: for the sign-in session, for protecting forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and for “Remember me” if you select it. Your chosen theme is stored in your account and in your browser’s storage. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.

5. Who can see your data

Only you can see your workout plan, workouts, habits and challenge; the service administrator does not open them. The administrator can view account data and body data (weight, measurements, body composition) for support and account management, as well as the correspondence in requests they respond to.

6. How long we keep your data

For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, it is first deactivated and can be restored within 90 days via the link in the email; after that period, all account data, including uploaded files, is permanently erased.

7. Your rights

At any time, you can:

  • view and correct your data in your dashboard;
  • export it under Settings → My data (CSV for Excel and a printable report / PDF);
  • delete your account and all data under Settings → Security;
  • unsubscribe from the newsletter in your profile settings or via the link in the email;
  • contact us about the processing of your data and lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
